My Illiterate Stamp Collection - Orange
This composition of My Illiterate Stamp Collection is focused on the Penguin Classics orange format, which is a format generally dedicated to the fiction genre. Those I have chosen in this version include novels by Emily Bronte and George Orwell.
I created a vintage template for sheets of stamps familiar to visitors to UK Post Offices. The format and the book titles are twisted as always for those who know my work in order to help you reflect on the cultural significance of stamps and books and how things have changed since they were conceived before our modern age.
This collection of 12 of my finest Pangolin titles and covers include; Muthering Fights by Bronte and Arable Farm, which was the first Penguin book cover that I parodied.
